Cleaning the attic, 2019

A collaboration with Kai , consisting of a video installation and performance situated in the attic of CittadellArte, Biella. A video of the two artists combing each other's hair in search of lice is juxta-posed against a video shot in a slaughterhouse where a calf's head is shaved. Whilst one of the artists is performing a piece in which they clean the thick layer dust of the old attic floor, shaving away layers of times past and revealing patches of wooden boarding shining with oil in stark contrast.
